Mission Statement:

The NexGenTech CDT is a University of St Andrews funded, interdisciplinary and innovation-focused training programme that brings together the world-leading environment across Chemistry and Physics and Astronomy in St Andrews together with industry partners, academic organizations and NGOs to train the next generation of responsible researchers and future leaders.

NexGenTech is an inclusive 3.5-year programme that aims to drive forward technologies for material sciences, energy and catalysis and imaging and sensing and to translate this research into high impact applications. We aspire to equip students with the skills, insights and knowledge needed to accelerate future innovations in these areas that tackle fundamental global challenges and by doing so benefit the wider community.
